I think it's important to share my thoughts out here just like what I had searched for others before writing MFE.
I used ASM Manual and finished all the PE with a minimum 20/30 (sometimes cheated), and I subscribed 15 days ADAPT with a Final Earned Level of 10, ended up passing the exam without any problem.
If you subscribed ADAPT, I feel that the exam level was nothing in between 4-6.5 (definitely <7).
The SOA 05,09(if I'm not mistaken) released papers are a joke, don't rely on those two papers.
However, some of the SOA 76 sample questions require you to know the fancy formula, assuming you know them, I would say the exam was a little bit around that level, maybe lower for a little bit...=)
