What's your plan?
We've got my folks coming to us this year for the first time. The wife and I will be cooking together in a small kitchen, which should be interesting. I'm on turkey, taters, cranberry, brussels, and salad. She's on stuffing, pie, non-Brussels-veg. My plan is to do absolutely as much as possible ahead of time so I can get the turkey in the oven on Thursday morning and then get out of her way until the turkey's done and it's time to make the gravy.
Have purchased a big slab o' steel for cooking the turkey using this method. Should be good for making pizzas and breads in the future as well. Heavy SOB, I tell you what. Hope it works!
