"Dark Matter" is another Canadian sci-fi TV series, currently showing on Netflix. Evidently it was also on SyFy last year, but I had missed it. The special effects are kind of on the light side, but I've found the show addictive. It's a good ensemble cast, which was a big strength of "Firefly."
The plot: a crew of six find themselves alone on a spaceship with their memories wiped. They come to quickly learn that they are on the run. What happens next is pretty interesting.
