Dear friends from and/or living in Europe,
Hope you are doing great. How does the actuarial certification work in Europe? Is it absolutely required to get either the SOA (ASA, FSA, CERA) or the CAS (FCAS, ACAS) in order to be consider a certified actuary (with signing power)?
Or does Europe works differently than the US? Would a person graduating from an actuarial science undergraduate program be considered a certified actuary? Or do you have to have a master or a PhD in actuarial science to be considered a certified actuary?
Best regards,
Paul
