Does anyone know where I can find several examples of this equation 1.3 being used? It is the conditional mean formula, E[X] = E[E[X|Y]
I just have a hard time understanding it because of the notation but I am getting into Chapter 4 and realized I didn't see any practice questions that directly draw on this (or if it did I didn't solve them this way).
