I have this report who's been irritating me for some time. I can't quite put my finger on it, but let's just say he's a know-it-all, talks smack about me, and is overall not a team player.
I gave him some phony project and told him to sort the response and predictor variables independently of one another and to run a regression on the data set. As expected, he piped up and asked me, 'why?' Sheesh, does a lowly employee not know his place? I gave him some made-up reason and said the regressions would look better that way. My plan is to get him to do it, and then when the results come back meaningless, write up a paper-trail on the guy, and then give him the boot. The whole sorting thing was relayed verbally, for obvious reasons, but I fear he may be onto something...
How can I ensure that my plan goes through without a hiccup?

I'm trying to get my report canned for something
