My friend recently had an on-site interview where at this point she's waiting for a yes/no on the offer. Let's say my friend ended up finding out she passed an actuarial exam since the interview. Should she contact the hiring manager about the result? It should help her chances, right? Would it also be worth contacting the HR person for that role about higher salary expectations given the pass (due to getting a raise from her current employer) or just wait until they do say yes (assuming they do), and negotiate from there?
