My company yesterday posted an actuarial position. I don't work in actuarial. It's the first actuarial position I've seen posted in my nearly 3 years here that does not require ASA or FSA. But they still want a few years experience (3). I would like to apply for it and email the actuarial director. I have passed all the preliminary exams. Is it inappropriate to apply for the position if I am underqualified for it? Thanks...
