She was originally approved to be resettled in the US, but due to some glitch or some sort, it was later reversed and denied. The HONY series was originally to profile refugees coming to the US. She was part of the series before her approval was later rescinded. So, there is a petition going around to try and get a million signatures to help in the appeal process. They are 150,000 away.
