Rules:
•DO NOT EDIT POSTS. That can result in DQ (Westley’s discretion). No posts in this thread should be edited, except for my posts that start the thread.
•I will post lines. Assuming I can find them, I will post over/under and also spread. No moneylines. I MAY update lines. If I do, I will update at the beginning of the thread and will also make a new post in the middle of the thread. You are betting on whatever line is posted when you make it (i.e., the line can’t move against you after-the-fact), but if you want to cancel your bet and make a new one before the deadline, you are free to do so (the line can move in your favor).
•You can cancel any bet and make new bets until the deadline for the game you are betting on. No edits, just make a new post that says “Canceling bet in post #xx for $YY on team zz”. Deadline is kickoff, or other deadline stated in the thread.
•Vig is NEGATIVE 10%. If you bet $100 and win, you get $110. If you lose, you lose what you wagered. Negative vig to encourage more betting. You can't take both sides of a bet for the pure arbitrage.
•Please help me track money by posting your picks separate or by highlighting or using font colors – if you’re going to post a bunch of conversation, just post your picks in a separate post or put several lines of space in between
•No deadline for entry. If everybody’s losing and new people sign up the day before the NC game and get it right, they win.
•You can post whatever bets you want, including contingent bets (of the form “I bet $100 on State on Tuesday, then half of whatever my bankroll is on Eastern on Wednesday, then everything on MU on Thursday”). You cannot have more than your entire bankroll out at once (so if you have $200, you can’t say “I bet $100 on State on Tuesday, then $100 on Eastern on Wednesday, then $100 on MU on Thursday” - that's not a valid contingent bet because you may not have $100 on Thursday)
•Trash talking is encouraged. The bank (Westley) may put a few extra dollars in your bankroll for solid trash talk.
•You have RF$100,000. Go.
