Humans can gradually change CO2 levels, I assume. I assume the sun can change faster. Therefore, rather than trying to combat global warming by varying the CO2 levels, I think we should focus on something we can vary faster, such as cheap mirrors near the equator. I suggest the Saudi desert as a good place. They can be black on one side and white on the other side and flipped as needed. We need climatologists to have better super computers to understand the effects of flipping them.
I also read that some people want to put a reflective aerosol into our atmosphere to combat global warming. I think that would be a huge mistake because we would not be able to vary it up and down as needed in response to the sun.
So how many square miles of plastic sheeting that is white on one side and black on the other side do we need in the Saudi desert or parts of the Sonora desert or Chile make the changes we need? The plastic sheeting could also be rolled up as needed.
