An anchor baby has the full rights of a citizen, keeping its parent's here. In many cases the parent came to get on assistance. However, not all citizens in the United States qualify for assistance. Higher income parents do not. So, that means we can select which citizens get assistance as long as we use general rules. What if we make a rule that one of the requirements for receiving assistance is that the parents be citizens? Why is it OK to exclude higher income parents or even 2 parent households, but it is not OK to exclude non-citizen parents?
If they want to stay, they can still stay without a change to the definition of citizen. But I think the number coming here would dramatically reduce. Many might even head back home on their own.

I don't think we need to overturn anchor babies.
