Attritional claims :Aviation and Marine Hull

The claim development of both Hull and Aviation does not show any consistent trend due to the presence of large claims.

Would it be appropriate to combine the attritional claims of hull and aviation and reserve for them together provided they show consistent age-to-age development factors independently?

I though for large claims may be case to case approach would be more suitable. Probably worry more about IBNER rather than IBNR for larger claims?

For attritional claims may be use CL,BF,loss ratio or any other suitable method.

Any suggestions?
