CK's 2016 in 2016

Since it's a new year, I've decided to set up some goals/resolutions and create this thread for tracking and accountability:

Goal #1: Walk/run the equivalent of 2,016 miles (as measured by my step counter) during 2016. This equates to about 5.5 miles per day, which I'm guessing to be about 12k steps/day. I'm probably right around 12k steps per day when I am intentional about my activity, but have a few too many days of 3k-4k steps per day mixed in to be anywhere near that on average.

Goal #2: Run 520 miles (10 miles/week) in 2016. I really enjoy running but don't run nearly as often as I would like, especially during the week. In a perfect world, this would be more like 12-15 miles per week, but I'm hoping that a goal of 10 miles per week will at least give me motivation to run more than my current once per week.

Goal #3: Lose 15 pounds and end 2016 at or below my target weight. I'm hoping that a combination of increased exercise and focus on diet will get me down to my target weight well before 2016 is over, but also want to recognize the importance of maintaining the weight loss. My stretch goal here would be to hit my target weight by July 1, and then maintain it (within +/- 5 lbs) for the remaining six months.

I intend to provide updates at least weekly (I guess that's technically Goal #4), but may be slightly more or less depending on when I log my activity.
