If i had known before I took the exam that these most recently released SOA written exams were the ACTUAL exams, then I would have had a completely different strategy and outlook going into it. I'm very disappointed in all of the resources (seminar, forums, SOA site, etc) in not explicitly making this KEY detail apparent!
It's just sad to see it not becoming an important enough topic to become a new thread anywhere yet, but IMO students NEED to know as early as possible.
Just to be clear and provide the info I would have been looking for BEFORE i had taken my MLC exam, here are some KEY details:
1. SOA released written exam are the actual exam administered
2. Every student had the exact same exam!
Now, is there still any question how difficult the "actual" exam is?? Just review the most recent written exams released by the SOA and you've got not a good measure, but pretty much exactly what you can expect minus any unseen changes that may take effect starting with the next one.
