Interview Nervousness

*To skip all the background info, see last paragraph*
The title pretty much says it all. I am very type A, and tend to get very overwhelmed when I know there is a lot at stake. That isn't to say I don't perform well under pressure... I got a 9 on MFE, but I felt like I was going to have a stroke by the time I finished the exam.

So, today when I found out that I would be phone interviewing with two different companies this week, I naturally became frantic. I have had several actuarial interviews in the recent past, but that was because I hadn't disclosed my gpa on my resume.

The difference with these upcoming interviews is that the hiring managers are already aware of my gpa, yet have still chosen to proceed with the interview process based off of my explanation. This makes me even more nervous about the interviews because I know that they may very well be my only shots until I get some relevant experience under my belt.

So, the question is how have some of you overcome your own nervousness before interviews? The issue isn't personality, but racing thoughts which lead to speaking too quickly and finally running out of breath.
