No love lost between these two beforehand anyways, but still a pretty big deal, IMHO. The executions have gotten less coverage in the US than I'd have expected.
I find it interesting that the article refers to the US as Saudi Arabia's biggest backer and it's well-known that Iran is believed to be an enemy, yet the sides the US has been forced to take in the ISIS conflict are the exact opposite of that enemy/ally situation; Iran on the same side as the US, with Saudi Arabia more or less sitting it out and letting others clean up the mess.
