Work experience and just passed first exam but poor college gpa...help

I am looking for some help from anyone on providing guidance on a best course of action for me where I stand. I passed P/1 in September with a 9 finally after leaving my first job after college and tried applying for jobs across the country but came to a similar fate for all but two openings I ended up receiving a call and made it to the final interview for. Trying to figure out ways I could receive better success on landing interviews, the only criteria I actually did not meet was my college gpa (a 2.6 fairly below the 3.0 minimum most require). After hearing gpa doesn't matter really once you are in the real world, I took my first job out of college traveling the country as a consultant for two years giving me letters of rec/references, business experience, and personal/professional growth to an entry level position. However I discovered gpa does matter no matter what your experience is if it is still technically an entry level position you apply for.

I want to focus on FM/2 but the doubt in my head of, "even if I pass, will it even matter since my gpa from 3 years ago is still a 2.6 and that is all a computer will see screening my application?" makes it hard to dedicate months to studying. This leads me to two options i can up with I want people's opinion from experience or position in the field:
  • Option A- Study for FM/2 during the day, get a tutoring job in the evenings for while studying and be able to apply for a job whenever but still have my gpa
  • Option B- Apply to work as an acadmic advisor or admsisions counselor at the state university near my home to receive free education on a different degree or online masters to solve my gpa issue but take 2-3 years since it'd be part-time
  • Option C- None of the Above/ What You'd Do Instead

Thank you in advance for any advice or guidance you all can provide as I try to figure out the best way to get my foot in the door.
