The idea is to buy a basic smartphone "endoskeleton" and then equip it to suit your needs. Only need a basic point and shoot camera? Buy that module and pop it in the frame. Want high end camera optics? Buy that module instead of the base model. Break your screen? That's a plug 'n' play module you can swap out just like any other module. Want more battery? Get that module.
