Hi. First, let me tell you a bit of my background.
I'm currently an undergraduate student (actuarial science) in Asia. I passed 2 papers (P and FM) last year. I spent around 7 weeks, 6 to 8 hours a day for P and 8 weeks (didn't have a schedule. I didn't study vigorously) for FM. I barely passed both of them on my first try and most of the materials, I saw them for the first time.
Now, I just finished my finals and would like to take MFE. I have no background in MFE. I'm using ASM and prior to my finals, I'm on the brink of finishing chapter 7. I'm having my semester break until the end of February.
My question is, is it possible for me to pass MFE if I'm planning to take it this March? I have almost nothing to do (except for a 5-day program) this holiday.
If yes, what should be my strategy? Spend the next 2 weeks finishing the ASM and do a lot of exercises?
Or should I take it in July?
Do you have a better idea of what should I do?
Thanks in advance!
