Last night on Kimmel, John Krasinski (Jim from the office) spoke briefly on his training regiment for his role in 13 hours: the secret soldiers of Benghazi, where he plays a Navy Seal.
He said to get in shape, he worked out twice a day for 5-6 days a week and ate nothing but chicken breasts, vegetables, and water. At the start of this process, his body fat was ~25% and by film time he was at 9%.
He didn't really mention how long this took, but the results are impressive. I get a jolt of motivation every time I hear something like this, but then I find it hardest to stick to the plain diet, especially during the holidays (or even weekends...).
Has anybody else tried following a strict exercise/eating plan? Was it tough to stick to? How were the results? Was it worth it?
