I passed P back in September and sitting for FM in December. I used a TI-30XS for P. Then I blindly switched to BA II Plus when studying for FM since that was the go-to based on what I read on posts regarding this matter (coupled with the fact that I had previously taken a college FM course which used BA II Plus).
I came to realize the only advantage BA II Plus has over TI-30XS is the built in time money value function, and maybe the simpler store/recall function. The raw math is way easier to compute on the TI-30XS. Since the exam allows multiple calculators, wouldn't it be best to strictly use the BA II Plus for the TVM function while computing the hard math on TI-30XS?
That is my plan unless someone can point out the disadvantage of doing so. For me, I feel like I'm forfeiting the easier store/recall function on BA II Plus which I do use frequently. Thoughts?
