On this debate I am Liberal-leaning.
Are we at war with "radical Islam"? Or at war with Jihadists only?
Fox News conservatives see hardly a difference in these terms, but Hillary Clinton does, but this is ironic Eventhough I lean towards Hillary on this debate point.
Regimes and factions in Iran, Saudi Arabia, and I might add some former Taliban, qualify as non-jihadist radical Islam. They are not militants, they do not care what western countries do in their Own countries, but they preach that women must be separated from men, covered by veil, not be able to drive or vote, work, or show any cleavage or have any freedom to do pretty much anything, and they preach strong hateful messages against any tolerating of homosexuality, aethiesm, Judaism, or any belief other than their own.
This is one form of a radical grouping of Islam. Are we at war with it if they are not bothering us or launching jihad?
It's ironic that I agree it's "none of our business" what they practice in their own part of the world, as long as they are not acting out their beliefs with violence and terror. That's Hillary's view by not saying we are at war with Radical Islam. But the irony is Hillary would have more cause to fight the women's rights nonjihadist battle with Taliban and factions in Iran than would Conservatives on Fox News.
